Privacy Policy

InvoiceGo is an invoicing app for tradespeople and contractors. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: your invoices and business details stay on your device and in your own iCloud account, and we cannot see them.

We do not operate a user database. InvoiceGo has no accounts, no logins and no server that stores your invoices. We have no technical means of accessing your data.

Information stored on your device

The following is created by you and saved locally on your iPhone or iPad:

Your business details — name, ABN, address, phone, email and logo
Your bank account details, used to print payment information on invoices
Invoices, quotes, variation orders and the PDFs generated from them
Client names and details you enter on a document
Crew names, pay rates and rosters, if you use Team Schedule
App settings, such as your default rate and working hours

iCloud backup

If you turn on backup, the information above is copied to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This is optional and off until you enable it.

The data is stored in your personal iCloud, under your Apple ID
It counts toward your own iCloud storage, not ours
We cannot view, retrieve or administer it — Apple provides developers no access to a user's private CloudKit database
You can remove it at any time in Settings › Apple ID › iCloud › Manage Storage

Location

If you enable job site detection, InvoiceGo uses your location to fill in the job site on your Daily invoice automatically. This is optional and off by default.

Location is used only while you are within the working hours and days you set in the app
It is converted to a street and suburb name on your device and written onto your invoice
Your location history is not stored, logged or transmitted to us
Address lookup uses Apple's own location services

AI features

Some optional features — the AI Job Estimator, Document Studio and Drawing Reader — send the text or images you provide to a third-party AI provider so a result can be generated. This happens only when you actively use one of those features.

Only the description or image you supply for that request is sent
Your saved invoices, bank details and client list are never included
Requests pass through a relay we operate solely to protect our API credentials; request contents are not retained there
Every other part of the app, including all invoice templates, works entirely offline

Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase is active.

Analytics and tracking

InvoiceGo contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share data with anyone. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated download and crash statistics, which cannot identify you.

Children

InvoiceGo is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because your data never reaches us, you control it entirely. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device; removing InvoiceGo's data from your iCloud settings removes the backup. We hold nothing to delete on your behalf.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
